What's New With the Connecticut Chapter. . .
2006 Highlights:
The Connecticut Chapter raised over $60,000 at their Second Annual Lymphomathon held at Rocky Neck State Park in October 2006. Special thanks to our top fundraiser Ronnie Fein and team Fein for a magnificent job! We also want to thank all the sponsors, donors, volunteers and walkers who helped to make our walk a success. Chapter Co-Presidents Susan Meyer and Rev. Joan Cianci played an active role in LRF's educational programs this year. Susan represented the chapter at the Annual North American Educational Forum in Los Angeles, CA. The Chapter hosted a local Ask The Doctor About Lymphoma program thanks to sponsors Biogen Idec and to the generous donation of time and knowledge provided by Dr. Syed Fazi Ali Bilgrami from St. Francis Regional Cancer Center in Hartford, CT.
Several Chapter members were also present at LRF's 12th Annual Gala at the NY Marriott Marquis in Times Square on October 16, 2006.
The Connecticut Chapter is dedicated to finding a cure for lymphoma by:
