Teammates Across the Country was established to encompass all individuals who are interested in raising funds and awareness for the Lymphoma Research Foundation. Everyone may be participating in something different around the country, but collectively they are all striving toward the same goal - to help support LRF and further our mission.
Teammates enables people who are participating in local sporting events, organizing their own fundraisers, or may be interested in setting up a fundraising drive in honor of someone who has been touched by lymphoma, to create a personal page where friends and family can visit to make a donation.
If you register to join Teammates you can personalize your page by uploading a photo, sharing your story about why you are raising money for LRF, as well as track donations made to your page. It's also easy to spread the word about your efforts by posting on a link on Facebook, twitter, and other social media sites.
Here is how you can get involved:
● Register to Start a Team, where you can create a team for other people to join who want to support your efforts or participate in your event.
Or
● Register to Join a Team*, where you sign up for a team that has already been set up by LRF, a friend, family member, colleague, or another participant in the same event you are interested in. Simply register to join a team and search for their team name in the drop down menu.
*Teammates Across the Country is a general team for people who are interested in having a fundraising page and are raising funds individually.
