Lisa Wegweiser-Vogel Appointed Chief Financial Officer
Lymphoma Research Foundation
New York, NY . . . The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) proudly announces that Lisa Wegweiser-Vogel has recently joined its staff as Chief Financial Officer. In her new position, Lisa is responsible for the Foundation's overall financial management, IT and human resources functions.
"It is with great pleasure that we welcome Lisa to LRF," stated Suzanne Bliss, President of the Lymphoma Research Foundation. "With her extensive banking, accounting and operations background, Lisa brings extensive financial and management expertise to her new position at LRF and we are thrilled to have her as a member of the Management Team at LRF."
A graduate of Syracuse University and a CPA, Lisa has had a varied career in Public Accounting and Banking. She has spent the majority of her career with JPMorganChase in various roles within the Firm's finance organization. Following her departure from JPMorganChase, Lisa took some time off and volunteered in a local nonprofit organization and became involved in both program and financial management activities, including assuming the role of CFO/Controller. It was this volunteer experience that convinced Lisa to transition from the for-profit to the nonprofit sector.
I am very excited about my new role at LRF. Having worked in the "profit" world for so many years, this opportunity has allowed me to participate in an organization that is dedicated to a cause that I am "emotionally" connected to. Having said that, its wonderful to be able to apply the skill sets I learned in the banking industry to my current role and I hope to make a positive impact on LRF’s strategic agenda as well as its day to day operations.
