• Increasing awareness about lymphoma.
• Assisting newly diagnosed patients and their families in finding the help they need.
• Raising funds for lymphoma research.
• Advocating for federal funding for lymphoma research.
Message from out going President Sue Rhodes
Thank you to all the members who helped the Arizona Chapter experience significant growth over the past two years. The Arizona Lymphomathon broke the record in 2007 for having the largest increase in revenue of all of the returning Lymphomathons. In 2008 even in hard economic times our chapter exceeded it's fund raising goal. The Arizona LRF educational programs reached a record number of individuals. Community outreach was expanded. Members dropped off LRF literature and flyers to a greater number of oncology offices and hospitals than ever before. It takes an entire chapter to experience this type of growth. We could not have done this with out our members support.
