Making a Difference: The LRF Advocacy Program

The Chicago Chapter provides important public policy and advocacy updates for chapter members, advocates and volunteers.

Our local Advocacy Program focuses on taking action on laws, policies and positions that affect every lymphoma patient and survivor. By contacting elected officials via phone calls, e-mail and letters in support of these priorities, local advocates help LRF to make lymphoma a national health priority.

We encourage you to attend a local chapter meeting, so that you can learn more about the LRF Advocacy Program, and to receive an update on federal policies likely to affect the lymphoma community. To become involved with these advocacy efforts, contact your local Advocacy Chair today at advocacy@lymphoma.org.
