By a vote of 411 to 3, the House on December 19, 2007, passed legislation that requires Medicare to retain through June 30, 2008, the system of reimbursement for RIT that was in place in 2007. It passed the Senate by a voice vote. President Bush is expected to sign this compromise bill in the coming days.
