With more than 70 subtypes of the disease, lymphoma – the most common type of blood cancer – can be a complicated diagnosis. To help members of the lymphoma community better understand their specific type so that they can make informed decisions regarding their treatment options, the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) provides a variety of educational opportunities, resources and services to all those affected by the disease.

LRF is committed to integrating social media into its educational programs and utilizing the expertise of Scientific Advisory Board members and leading lymphoma experts. Through the Foundation’s Twitter chats, LRF seek to increase awareness and understanding of lymphoma, engage members of the lymphoma community — especially those unable to attend the Foundation’s educational program, as well as provide a forum for those touched by lymphoma to have their lymphoma questions answered by a world-leading lymphoma expert, an opportunity many people may not have otherwise.
